Camille Lavon
Camille Lavon is the Executive Director of Allen County Economic Development (ACED), bringing more than 15 years of experience in economic and workforce development across five states. A Kansas native, Camille is passionate about strengthening existing businesses, expanding economic opportunity, and building communities where people and businesses thrive.
In her current role, Camille leads business retention and expansion efforts, workforce development initiatives, industrial site readiness, and strategic partnerships that strengthen Allen County’s economic competitiveness while positioning the region for new investment.
Previously, Camille served with the Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC, where she led international business attraction campaigns and award-winning talent initiatives, contributing to $526 million in capital investment and 404 new jobs.
With a collaborative, results-driven approach, Camille specializes in connecting public and private partners, advancing regional competitiveness, and translating economic development strategies into measurable community impact. Her experience spans diverse markets, bringing a broad perspective to business growth, workforce challenges, and investment opportunities.
Today, Camille is committed to leveraging that experience to strengthen Kansas communities, support existing industries, and create opportunities for sustainable economic growth.
Kylie Taylor-Cromer
An Allen County native and Pittsburg State University graduate, Kylie returned to Iola in 2020 after spending time living and working outside the region. Now raising her two sons in the community she calls home, she brings a deeply personal investment in Allen County’s future alongside professional experience spanning business, healthcare, and community-based leadership.
Throughout her career, Kylie has seen that meaningful progress starts with listening, building genuine relationships, and connecting people and businesses with the resources they need to succeed. She brings that collaborative approach to economic development, working alongside local employers, community partners, and prospective businesses to identify opportunities and turn ideas into action.
Kylie believes economic development is ultimately about creating opportunity for people and communities. In her role, she is focused on supporting sustainable growth, strengthening the environment for local businesses, and helping build a community where families want to put down roots and the next generation is excited to call Allen County home.
