Camille Lavon
A Kansas native with deep agricultural and military family roots, Camille returned home to apply her passion for rural communities after more than a decade of leading economic development efforts across five states. Prior to joining ACED, Camille was the Director of Business Development for the Colorado Springs Chamber & EDC, where she helped secure over $60 million in capital investment and create more than 700 jobs. Her work included launching an internationally recognized talent attraction program that earned a Silver Excellence in Economic Development Award from the IEDC and establishing a regional Site Readiness Program to attract large-scale investment.
Camille believes economic development is about more than numbers; it’s about creating dignity, opportunity, and legacy. In her role, Camille is focused on championing local industry, telling Allen County’s story to new markets, and building the strategic relationships that attract investment, create jobs, and ensure a competitive, resilient economy where businesses and families can succeed.
Kylie Taylor-Cromer
An Allen County native and Pittsburg State University graduate, Kylie returned to Iola in 2020 after spending time living and working outside the region. Now raising her two sons in the community she calls home, she brings a deeply personal investment in Allen County’s future alongside professional experience spanning business, healthcare, and community-based leadership.
Throughout her career, Kylie has seen that meaningful progress starts with listening, building genuine relationships, and connecting people and businesses with the resources they need to succeed. She brings that collaborative approach to economic development, working alongside local employers, community partners, and prospective businesses to identify opportunities and turn ideas into action.
Kylie believes economic development is ultimately about creating opportunity for people and communities. In her role, she is focused on supporting sustainable growth, strengthening the environment for local businesses, and helping build a community where families want to put down roots and the next generation is excited to call Allen County home.
