A partnership with Thrive Allen County, the City of Iola, the City of Humboldt, Allen County Government, and Iola Industries, Inc., Allen County Economic Development (ACED) helps local businesses grow, connects them with partners, and is dedicated to bringing new commerce to the area.
Our services include:
- Recruiting new businesses to the area
- Assisting in new site selection for relocating businesses
- Providing business development strategies, support, and resources to entrepreneurs and startups
- Consulting on business growth, marketing, and management for established businesses
- Acting as a referral source and intermediary with resource providers
- Providing data on demographics, businesses, employment, market profiles, census data, workforce characteristics, and available sites
- Partnering to support the infrastructure needs of new businesses, including employee housing and childcare access.
