K-12 Partners



Allen County’s K–12 partners are an important part of the county’s workforce pipeline, giving students early exposure to career pathways that align with local and regional industry needs. Through USD 257, USD 258, and USD 256, students can access pathways in areas such as manufacturing, agriculture, construction, health science, business, entrepreneurship, programming/software development, education, and skilled trades. Together, Allen County’s three public school districts serve more than 2,260 students, creating a strong foundation for future workforce development.
Higher Education Partners
Positioned between two major community college systems, Allen Community College (ACC) and Neosho County Community College (NCCC), the region benefits from education partners working together to power industry. As one of many bold workforce investments, NCCC has expanded with a new high-tech Career & Technology Center focused on advanced manufacturing, welding, CDL, and aerostructures training.

Through this partnership, ACED can help employers access tools for recruiting talent, posting jobs, identifying qualified candidates, and connecting workers with training programs that support business growth and long-term workforce development.
